Remember The Stray Cats?
Just did so...
(yeah! war eines der 3 songs die ich dunnemals (mehr schlecht als recht) aus einer Klampfe habe raushauen können) (die anderen beiden waren "Love Street" von den Doors und - (suprize!!!) "The House of the Rising Sun". Gosh!)

System Ali
Love it!
System Ali, a ten-piece hip hop outfit which raps in Arabic, Russian, Hebrew and English sits down with Café Gibraltar to talk about the power of the genre, normalization, revolutionary Arab street poetry and the need to struggle for justice in their home city.

Und jetzt zum Wetter
ne, eben nicht. Zum Klima:
Ian Angus von Climate and Capitalism
Is the climate sick of us?
I was browsing through Climate & Capitalism’s archive today, and I came across this short video, which I had completely forgotten.
It was made by Portugal’s Bloca Esquerda (Left Bloc) in 2010, while I was in Lisbon to speak at the the conference O Clima Farto de Nos? (Is the climate sick of us?)
As the content shows, it was recorded after the disastrous Copenhagen climate change negotiations, and just before the wonderful World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth, in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
The three questions, shown in text in Portuguese, are:
Is the climate sick of us?
What must be done internationally about this situation?
What message would you like to give to the Portuguese people?
